Check out Carson Catlin's latest, Yoshi Noir, created for Urban Vinyl Daily's "Blow Me" show. Yoshi Noir is based on the lovable Nintendo character Yoshi. The figure stands 9.5" tall, and features a matte black base coat, along with a gloss black coat to accent some of Yoshi's features. 

German based designer & illustrator Magomed Dovjenko's latest work is an online exhibition titled 'Domo Arigato'. 'Domo' is an interesting  combination of Japanese anime with haute couture fashion brands like Chanel & Gucci. Nice.

The Persona series tends to engender plenty of fandom, thanks to its engrossing role-playing tales that mix supernatural elements with great aesthetics and unique social interactions with other characters. And publisher Atlus certainly helps keep fans excited, thanks to elaborate special editions that include stellar extras and slick packaging. That is once more the case with Persona 4 Golden, the upcoming PlayStation Vita re-release of the beloved 2008 PlayStation 2 release, which itself features enhanced story content and the ability to call in an online ally for help.

If your idea of enlightenment is a big belly filled with treats, then Kidrobot may have something for you. Launching on September 6 is the Homer Buddha seven-inch vinyl sculpture, which depicts the iconic The Simpsons character in an amusingly Zen-like state.

When the super-sized Nintendo 3DS XL launches in North America this Sunday, we'll only have red/black and blue/black options available for purchase. Japanese gamers have already had their shot at some other colors for the 3DS LL (as it's called over there), and will soon get an even slicker option in the form of the Pikachu Yellow system pictured here (via Andriasang).
