When SLASH, arguably the world’s greatest guitar player, embarked on a solo career by collaborating with his favorite singers, he asked artist Ron English to create with him the cover art for "SLASH and Friends." For this project, Ron interpreted SLASH’s iconic skull and top hat using his unique glowing color technique in a boudoir atmosphere complete with guitar/derriere crossbones. File 18756

Suggestivism 2013 in Rome!

February 2011 saw renowned artist Nathan Spoor collect artworks of forty critically acclaimed contemporary artists and launching his Suggestivism project at Grand Central Art in Los Angeles. Suggestivism begins with a conceptual and non-aesthetical reading of the popular artistic wave known or labeled as Pop Surrealism. The search for common ground beyond aesthetics is what brought Spoor to these appreciated artists. Spoor found that these artists shared common "creative intentions" and "sensitivity" that moved Spoor to call this art Suggestivism.

MF Gallery's Latest Exhibit!

International artists Nicoz Balboa (Italy/France), Aya Kakeda (Japan) & Angie Mason (U.S.A.) will be showing their prints, drawings, sculptures, paintings and installations at the MF Gallery on April 13th. The artists will be showing some of their latest works and site - specific installations at the gallery in addition to a live mural painting during the opening reception.

This March saw a ton of activity at the Super Sucklord's Pop Up Shop in New York City's historic Chinatown.  With Mary Papers now managing the store, there were regular toy and art drops each and every week. This didn't go unnoticed, social media was exploding and the fans on GalacticJerkbags.com (The Unofficial Suckadelic Fan Site) were getting amped.

The egg was dropped by the bunnny with care, In hopes that Springtime soon would be there." Tomorrow, March 29th, Ron English will be releasing a very limited Giclée print titled "The Night Before Easter." This print is limited to a mere 10 pieces, each signed and numbered, measuring 24x18 inches.

Doyle New York's Street Art Auction

Last fall's Inaugural Street Art Auction was so successful that Doyle New York has decided to hold another Street Art Auction on April 8th. The upcoming auction promises to be a larger event that features works by classic graffiti artists from the 1980s & 90s beside creations from prominent street artists of today. Doyle New York will auction works from artists such as Shepard Fairey, Faile, Cost, Herakut, Revolt, Banksy, Futura 2000 and KAWS.
