April 15, 2013 - by specialK
"When human and robot live in peace, suddenly evil robots destroy this harmonization of life. Sadness, fear, nightmare, this situation is so bad, God of Mecha comes to take control, kill and destroy." So goes the back story for Bowo Baghaskara's latest custom, God of Mecha. Built on a 1/6 scale, this evil custom means business!

Full Reveal For dust's XW7 Munny!

April 15, 2013 - by specialK
Last week we posted some "sneak peeks" of dust's latest custom, XW7. The unique figure comprises the head & hands of a 4"Munny & stands on a base littered with debris and bones. XW7's hand made tool belt and clothing were made by dust himself! Although this custom is unlike anything we've seen from dust in the past, his familiar military theme is still there. XW7 will be featured in dust's new solo show coming up in May at the Hugo45 Gallery in Braunschweig, Germany.

WuzOne's Bold New Commissions

April 11, 2013 - by specialK
Check out these amazing commissioned customs by WuzOne! The Dunny is for a Brazilian collector who happens to love skulls (don't we all?). This brightly colored 3" figure is called Turquoise Bones. The next piece is Leopoldo TT, a 3.5" Teddy Trooper commission created for an American Collector. As you can see, WuzOne does not shy away from colors or patterns. Both customs are hand painted using spray paint, acrylics, markers & matte varnish.

Laura Lorén's Stylish Lola+Mimi Custom Munnys!

April 11, 2013 - by specialK
Lola + Mimi are the latest stylish customs by Laura Lorén. I personally think these two lovely ladies are Laura's most fashionable customs to date. With their exquisite one-shoulder black & creme silk dresses, dramatic hats and Lola's edgy, silver chain eye jewelry, Lola + Mimi certainly know how to make a fashion statement! Mimi is a  Micro Munny who carries her customized I.W.G. Titus the Grizzly bear everywhere she goes.

Kreative31's Wilfred Custom Munny!

April 10, 2013 - by specialK
Kreative31's Wilfred custom Munny made it to the set of FX's Wilfred! While re-watching season 1, Kreative31 thought that making a Wilfred custom would be a fun way to brush up on his polymer clay sculpting skills.

dust Branches Out With XW7 Mini-Munny

April 10, 2013 - by specialK
Check out these teaser photos of dust's latest custom! XW7 is a bit of a different direction for dust, one that I find very interesting. While XW7 sports dust's familiar colors and dioramic base, the custom figure is wearing a knit turtleneck sweater and a detailed tool belt - all crafted by dust himself. I'd love to know how he did the sweater. Another interesting thing about XW7 is that dust used only the head and hands of a Mini-Munny instead of the whole platform.
