As we continue to unpack all the plush and soft sculpture treasures that have been sent for our eagerly awaited "Stitched" group show at our Clutter Gallery (163 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508) exhibition.

As we prepare for the eagerly awaited "Stitched" group show at our Clutter Gallery (163 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508) to open this Saturday, April 13th, with a reception from 6PM to 9PM, we have a couple of teasers of the wonderful plush and soft sculpture creations that have started to arrive for the exhibition.

I recently spoke with Bishop203, about an upcoming event taking place on Friday April 12, 2013 at Low Brow Artique featuring artist Alexander Yanes. Bishop203 says that being excited about this event is an understatement.

3DRetro and BAIT have produced a vinyl version of Gary Ham's awesome wooden Super SUCKset. All of the pieces and accessories from the original wood toy have been included in these two different sets. Both of the vinyl sets are limited to 210 pieces each for a total of 420.

February 2011 saw renowned artist Nathan Spoor collect artworks of forty critically acclaimed contemporary artists and launching his Suggestivism project at Grand Central Art in Los Angeles. Suggestivism begins with a conceptual and non-aesthetical reading of the popular artistic wave known or labeled as Pop Surrealism. The search for common ground beyond aesthetics is what brought Spoor to these appreciated artists. Spoor found that these artists shared common "creative intentions" and "sensitivity" that moved Spoor to call this art Suggestivism.

A Little Stranger & Sergey Safonov have created a very special Cavey especially for ToyCon UK. Made of bisque porcelain, Moon Cavey sits in a little boat ready to embark on a peaceful journey in moon lit waters.

International artists Nicoz Balboa (Italy/France), Aya Kakeda (Japan) & Angie Mason (U.S.A.) will be showing their prints, drawings, sculptures, paintings and installations at the MF Gallery on April 13th. The artists will be showing some of their latest works and site - specific installations at the gallery in addition to a live mural painting during the opening reception.

Unbox Industries will be having a major signing event this Saturday at ToyCon UK! All of the Unbox collaborators will be signing, sketching and doodling whatever items you may have including products not affiliated with Unbox. This awesome event will be taking place on the main stage from 2:30 - 3:30 PM.

Triclops has some interesting B.A.S.T.A.R.D. sneak peaks for ToyCon UK! They'll be introducing 12 new  2" resin mini-figures (17 figures in all) plus their new adventure B.A.S.T.A.R.D. Universe! B.A.S.T.A.R.D. Universe is a 3-way collaboration between Triclops, Unbox Industries & a guest artist. While based in in the retro mini-figure style, B.A.S.T.A.R.D Universe is much bigger. The photos for the first B.A.S.T.A.R.D. Universe release look pretty awesome but that's all we can say! This rad new toy will preview only at ToyCon UK. Here are some pictures we CAN show you.
