Kidrobot x South Park

July 20, 2011 - by Nick
Kidrobot have fast become THE toy company to go to for a successful series of figures. From the Simpsons and Futurama to Family Guy and Adult Swim and more recently the Street Fighter figures. Next up its Trey Parker and Matt Stone's South Park characters that have been given the Kidrobot treatment, and very nicely they've turned out too. The squashed Kidrobot form adapting well for the series. There's also a set of Keychains on the way too! File 3313

ToyQube @ SDCC

July 19, 2011 - by Nick
ToyQube have a ton of stuff heading to SDCC this year (Booth #4934). New sets of the Myth Warriors figure (50pcs for each colorway) available in Ivory, Assassin, Blue Spode & Historicle versions. Keithing also has a bunch of customs including 4 Clone Trooper styled Hi-Def figures and a ton of figures in his Driftwood style. Not a massive fan of the Driftwood but those Clone Hi-Defs are badass!

Pocket Pork Dumpling @ SDCC

July 19, 2011 - by Nick
Shawnimals are proud to announce a new collaboration with MyPlasticHeart on this new Pocket Pork Dumpling figure that's set to debut at SDCC at the Rotofugi+Squibbles Ink Booth #4736. There are 2 versions available, with and without eyes depending on your preference for customising. Have to say I'm loving this figure! It's new super cute proportions will win many over and is in my opinion a pretty essential pickup from SDCC this year.

Toy2R DIY 5" Mini series 2

June 27, 2011 - by miranda
Toy2r have announced some new character additions to their 5" mini Qee shapes. Series 2 of the DIY line features Boxee Toyer, Devil Toyer, Doggie, Grizee, Rhinzee, Boxee and the two new characters Elepee and Quacky (terrible names - i mean Quacky.. sounds like a toy for a 5 year old). Personally these additions are really not my cup of tea, i find them way too childish, and lacking of any real character (which could be argued is the point as they are blank).

Dunny 2011 Series Review!

June 22, 2011 - by miranda
This morning we received some preview samples of Kidrobot's, Dunny 2011 series (blogged).  This series has been much hyped and so far very well received. It has a great line up of artists and some amazing designs. I love that Kidrobot has produced so many different head sculpts and accessories for this series, it really does make it stand out as an example of what can be achieved.

Bearbrick Series 22

June 4, 2011 - by Chris
This July Medicom will celebrate 10 years of Bearbricks with the release of Series 22.  The standard flag, artist, and jellybean versions are all there, but what I think is cool  is that this set will also feature figures from 3 of the biggest movies this summer.  Pirates of the Caribbean, Cars 2, and the Green Lantern each have a figure and their success at the box office could mean good things for this series.

Kidrobot x Streetfighter

June 3, 2011 - by Chris
Kidrobot is continuing their release onslaught this year by diving into the world of video games.  The Streetfighter mini series will feature 12 figures and at least one chase.  You can relive the glory days of fighting games this July 27th for $9.95 each.  In arcade math, that's almost 40 quarters.
