  Take a journey through the mind of Ron English, as he showcases his never before displayed utilitarian toy drawings and turnarounds, this June at the Clutter Gallery. "Thought Factory" is a peek into the inner workings of English's process, containing original sketches, drawings, and paintings made for large scale designer toy releases as well as one-of-a-kind custom figures and special resin edition releases.

When SLASH, arguably the world’s greatest guitar player, embarked on a solo career by collaborating with his favorite singers, he asked artist Ron English to create with him the cover art for "SLASH and Friends." For this project, Ron interpreted SLASH’s iconic skull and top hat using his unique glowing color technique in a boudoir atmosphere complete with guitar/derriere crossbones.

Vincent Fiorello of Less Than Jake started Paper + Plastic for bands who love to release visual art to accompany their music and for the artists who love to create those visuals. In keeping with their mission, Paper + Plastic have collaborated with artist Jonathan Dubose and created the Paper + Plastic skull head in resin form.

Penny Rimbaud of the legendary Punk band Crass will be reading poetry at New York City's Boo-Hooray this Friday March 22nd, from 7-9 PM. This reading is part of a closing party Boo-Hooray is having for Penny's exhibit Penny Rimbaud: 62 Renaissance Drawings & One Painting, which opened on March 13th.

I think Dethrace must be distant cousins of GWAR because not only do they look similar, they are often seen together playing music or hanging out drinking beer. While they may look like family, Dethrace really have an image and sound that is their own. See, GWAR are intergalactic space mutants and Dethrace are 10' tall superhero robots! Hey - that sounds like a party I want to be at! Dethrace's music is a combination of Speed,Thrash & Death Metal and it has the power to turn you into the walking dead.

Darkthrone is a legendary 2 piece metal band out of Norway that has left a huge mark in the annals of Heavy Metal History. Originally starting in the late 80s as a 4 piece Death Metal band, Darkthrone soon became disillusioned with the slick production & laid back skater attitudes of the genre.

CocoRosie - Not a new band. In fact they formed back in 2003. Described as "Freak Folk" the band was formed by Sisters  Bianca "Coco" and Sierra "Rosie" Casady. While they may not be a new band, we only just found this performance featuring the Royal Concergebouw Orchestra. It blew us away, with its magical and eerie sound so we had to share! Enjoy...
