"A vegan cooking show from the Abyss" is how the Vegan Black Metal Chef describes his YouTube channel. While looking for some cool vegan recipes on YouTube, I came across a true necro warrior, one who mades kick ass vegan food the true Nordic Black Metal way; Vegan Black Metal Chef. With his mighty axe, VBMC sacrifices vegetables & tofu on an alter adorned with pentagrams and candles, all while looking oh-so necro in corpse paint and spikes.

My old friend Ellis lives in Austin, Texas and I'd say he's a little jaded about the SXSW festival at this point. That's why I was so suprised to find out that he willingly spent three hours in line - in the rain - to meet none other than the Grumpy Cat herself, Tard. This Tarded event was organized by on-line everything site Mashable and it took place in a tent set up in a downtown Austin parking lot.

I found something on YouTube that has been haunting me for close to 24 hours now. The video features a crazed pink face nibbling on the finger of a woman. I mean, I know it's not alive or anything BUT the face smiles, and frowns and looks freaky as it munches on this finger! And it's eyes! Their fixed gaze keeps drawing me back for another look. Every time I watch it I hope that it will be my last view because the video has lost the ability to give me the creeps. Unfortunately, that is not the case and I find it more unsettling every time I watch it.

With every passing year it seems we ease closer to a day when the average Middle Class household will have their own 3D Printer, as the technology becomes more prevalent and affordable. But instead of lurching towards this future, imagine a huge leap was taken!

Wide spread flooding, power outages and general storm damage has been seen thoughout the region, and our thoughts are with the people, friends and family that have been seriously effected by this event.

To complete his IRON MAN 3 Mark XLVll Armor piece Daniels used 334 pieces of glass, 275' of copper foil,5 rolls of solder, and over 100 hours of construction time! The for the piece are 31"x47". 

Tokyo artist Choo-San may be inspired by technology but she refuses to use Photoshop or other computer programs to create or alter her surreal images. All of her body-art is acrylic paint applied directly to her subject's skin. Inspired by technology but refuses to use it. Quite a paradox.
