WTF

Superbad.com

July 15, 2011 - by baykiddead
When it comes to the internet, there are two schools of thought. It was either invented as a pr0n conveyance system, or to play fantasy football. Both schools are wrong. It was created to waste time. Massive amounts of time. I give you as exhibit "A," Superbad.com. Rhyme without a reason. Treasure with no map.

Paul Budnitz... Bicycles?

July 7, 2011 - by baykiddead
You know the man, Paul Budnitz. You know the legacy, Kidrobot. But did you know this crazy mutha makes bicycles? So far, all we have to go on is the one picture he's posted to his blog and to the new site dedicated to this venture, but from what I can tell, wow, I want one! As an avid cyclist myself, I worship at the alter of form and function. And I really love when an item wages a battle within as to which is greater. Trying to decide which one takes precedence here is futile. It's a 50/50 split.

There I was standing outside Toy Tokyo with Sean from Cotton Candy Machine and Zac from United Culture when we spotted this Yeti in a bus...random. NYC still rules.

Fuck you Harrods!

December 16, 2010 - by miranda
I very much doubt this is real, but i really hope that is it. Story goes that "a disgruntled employee, fired by Harrods from his job as the toy department’s Father Christmas, took revenge last night in spectacular style. Gaining access to a maintenance control room, Lloyd Hudson, 35, from Ilford, Essex, was able to locate the chart and corresponding switches for Harrods’ 10,000 external lights." Please god let this be true!!

The Dumpkin

Somehow, I missed this when the guys released it. I'm not sure how that happened, and yes i know its way after Halloween. Needless to say this has to be mentioned. Not only are poop jokes always funny, Alyeen is reading a copy of Clutter issue 10 whilst pulling this awesome halloween prank. Awesome choice!!

Ugly, Oh yeh!

December 14, 2010 - by miranda
I’ll probably find out, after saying who the hell designed this, that it was designed by children or disabled people and end up looking and feeling like a idiot. However in the articles i've read about this "Youth Marketing Campaign" I’ve found nothing to back up my gut instinct that this was designed by a child, it seems rather it was designed to "look" like that to have the most effect when State Farm hand them out. In a quote from Archrival's site (A branding company that specializes in Youth Marketing):

MakerBot Thing-o-Matic

December 9, 2010 - by Devin
I have many dreams, one involves killing Falcor from the Never-Ending story in front of Bastion, one has twin asian school girls (and i wont go into detail), and one is to have my own line of toys. Two of those things will most likely never come true, but a future where toys are printed in 3d from your desktop is close at hand! Check out the MakerBot Thing-o-Matic! A relatively cheap 3d printer that looks just about perfect for designing your own professional toys.
