Revoltech Baby Milo

February 15, 2012 - by Nick
A Bathing Ape and Revoltech Yamaguchi have got together to produce this iconic Baby Milo figure. This time the precocious lil fella is accompanied with some awesome accessories with a BAPE camo guitar, bananas, a fedora?!? and has an alternative head and that also might be a removable tongue. Nice! The figure is 90mm tall and will be available soon through BAPE outlets for ¥2,980 JPY (approximately $38 USD)

Bape x Star Wars

September 1, 2011 - by Nick
Whilst i still havent figured out whether Nigo is still involved at all with Bape or not (guess thats the idea) the 20 year old japanese streetwear brand is continuing to produce some really nice on form collections. This time it's the ultimate collaboration for the brand with this set of Star Wars branded tees.

Collector Beastie Boys Action Figures... again

August 3, 2011 - by Nick
The Beastie Boys yesterday made the remaining sets of their Bape/Nowhere Ltd action figures available. They're more than a bit pricy but the proceeds are all split between 2 childhood cancer foundations, so it's all for an excellend cause. These are some outstanding figures and can be yours for $750! Even with the relatively high price i doubt these will be around for long so get buying here! The Action Figures are packaged in a 16x12" metal box. The box contains:

Bape x Be@rbrick Collection

July 26, 2011 - by Nick
Another day, another Be@rbrick release! This time it's a capsule collection with A Bathing Ape (is Nigo still involved? or did the sale happen instantly and he's no longer involved? i dunno). Anyways the once hyper popular brand has collaborated with Medicom Toy to produce this collection of t-shirts and A Bathing Ape 100% Be@rbrick. No doubt all done to coincide with Medicom Toy's 15th year anniversary.

BAPE Pirate Store UK

June 20, 2011 - by Nick
A Bathing Ape will launch only their second ever Pop Up Pirate store in the UK this July. Whatever you think of the brand these days, there's no doubt it is a massive cultural icon for so many, but has definitely gone past its glory days, and that's something Nigo knew when he sold the company earlier this year. saying that, the pirate store will draw a ton of people for BAPE at some knock down prices, even I as someone who has never owned an item of Bape Clothing (just sneakers) would be tempted to pick up a tee for old times sake.

Bape x Optimus Prime

June 15, 2011 - by Nick
Love this random collaboration, all for the sake of getting some Bape Camo on an Optimus Prime toy, that must be the reason surely. And to be honest it's genius, instantly creating what must be a real collectors item. Despite BAPE's sale and takeover and general winding down in popularity over other brands Nigo has been working with, along with the change in Japanese street fashion this collaboration is pretty cool and shows that people still want to collaborate with the brand. It's not dead... yet.

Kaws x Bape Dissected

February 19, 2011 - by miranda
When two of your favourite brands get together again the result can only be amazing, and KAWS X BAPE baby Milo Dissected figure kicks some serious ass. Spotted over on KAW's facebook page he is up for preorder on ToyQube in three colour ways. Standing at approx 8" tall, i want want want!! Time to run over and put my preorder in!

Bapeon Scooter

January 10, 2011 - by Nick
Bape have collaborated with Aeon Scooters to produce these camo-encrusted, his and hers, scooters. Only 500 of each have been made of each and they're due to drop in January sometime! Expect the addition of a Bape paint job to seriously affect the price of these 125cc Scooters tho! Not that i'd say no to one!
