Well this is one of them in errr... Be@rbrick form. Free of detail this 'brick comes in a semi transluscent white plastic, even with a built in LED.

Be@rbrick Mugs

May 24, 2012 - by Nick
Well if you're anything like me (unlikely I know), this is an essential purchase! The Be@rbrick Mug, arriving June 23rd. Not quite sure why i desperately need this but the design is the classic Be@rbrick head shape, clean and simple and looks well made for sure. Classy addition for any toy collector whether it ends up having a hot beverage drunk out of it, or just used for storing pens. It will go nicely with the Secret Base mug Geoff brought back from Japan for me last year. Due for release on June 23rd, no word on price as of yet.

Porter Wooden Be@rbrick

May 1, 2012 - by Nick
Medicom have done a few collaborations with Karimoku recently for their wooden range of toys. Preveious collaborations included the wooden Kaws Companion and a 400$ Be@rbrick. This Be@rbrick marks the 77th anniversary of Yoshida & Co, makers of Porter Bags. To celebrate they have produced this 400% Be@rbrick made from Padauk wood. Reportedly made in super limited quantities (tho we have no numbers) each figure carries 2 wooden bags inspired by Yoshida's iconic Porter Silhouette.

Carbon 400% Bearbrick

December 19, 2011 - by Nick
This Bearbrick is awesome! but has a pricetag to match - it will set you back a cool ¥148,000 JPY (approx. $1,900 USD). Why you ask? Because the figure is made entirely of carbon fibre!

Bearbrick Series 22

June 4, 2011 - by Chris
This July Medicom will celebrate 10 years of Bearbricks with the release of Series 22.  The standard flag, artist, and jellybean versions are all there, but what I think is cool  is that this set will also feature figures from 3 of the biggest movies this summer.  Pirates of the Caribbean, Cars 2, and the Green Lantern each have a figure and their success at the box office could mean good things for this series.

KAWS Mono Dissected Be@rbrick

March 24, 2010 - by Geoff
There's not much to say about this - its the grey/mono version of the original Dissected Bearbrick coming in 100, 400 and 1,000% sizes. Due to drop in a few days (March 27) at the Original Fake store in Tokyo and presumably in limited quantities on Kawsone about a week later.

Stainless steel Be@rbrick

June 17, 2008 - by Geoff
It's the ultimate kitchen accessory for toy/art fans...a 400% stainless steel Bearbrick from Medicom! Weighing in at a hefty 13.5kg this is a real piece of craftsmanship, with the original 400% dimensions having to be changed to take account of the extra material's weight and the joints all re-worked to ensure it held together. This piece is debuting at the Medicom Toy 2008 Exhibition in Tokyo. Apparently 3 are available to purchase but no cost has been mentioned. Mind you, even if it was vaguely reasonable, the shipping costs will be a killer.
