The artistic collective Circus Posterus is looking to expand into releasing sketchbooks of their artists and associates, but the print medium is an expensive game… so, to off-set the cost, they are currently funding the first volume in this Muse series — containing the works of Brandt Peters — on Kickstarter. In an extremely smart move, a PDF copy of the volume can be yours for only $5 while the 140+ page long limited edition softcover is a reasonable $24.

Kathie Olivas & Brandt Peters (of Circus Posterus) have four complete sets of the 6.25" Oliver and Mortimer the Mortician figures available for pre-order now. Produced by Artoyz Originals, this complete package of four color editions comes with the Artoyz "Exclusive Edition" Gray Scale colorway. The sets are loaded with extras like Oliver's 2 carnivorous scavengers & Mortimer's straight razors & bottles of Toxico.

Tomenosuke and Circus Posterus are getting ready to drop Brandt Peter's Old Timey Stingy Jack this Wednesday, February 13th. This 6.5" sofubi figure is available  in two colorways: an unpainted, crushed glass and colorway #3. Colorway #3 is the same clear figure with a metallic head only the #3 has it's head, collar, hands, feet & parts of his face painted black.

Tomenosuke's collaborations with Circus Posterus' Brandt Peters & Kathie Olivas were released for a limited period of time on their online store over the weekend.

At the 2012 Designer Con, not only were Circus Posterus family heads Brandt Peters and Kathie Olivas present but such notables as Amanda Louise Spayd, Chris Ryniak, Doktor A and DrilOne were also in attendance.

Exhibiting pieces with ghostly or spirit-laden themes, the Circus Posterus collective are bringing their unique artistic visions across the pond for a showcase at Artoyz Shop + Galerie in Paris, France.

This figure has been over a year in the making, but is set to release this weekend via Circus Posterus's store and Gallery, Stranger Factory (US) and partner Tomenosuke-Syoten (JP).

You may recall not that long ago we discussed the upcoming Monsters & Misfits II group show in Japan and the Circus Posterus online fundraiser that would accompany it.

Nearly a year ago, on the eve of the massive Takayama Spring Festival, an exhibition opened at the Kusakabe Folk Museum in Takayama, Japan: "Monsters & Misfits," a gallery show of originals and customs by Kathie Olivas, Brandt Peters and Chris Ryniak. The exhibit, in the wake of Japan's disasterous Tōhoku earthquake, was a much needed relief fundraiser.
