Brandt Peters's Sketchbook: Muse No. 1

The artistic collective Circus Posterus is looking to expand into releasing sketchbooks of their artists and associates, but the print medium is an expensive game… so, to off-set the cost, they are currently funding the first volume in this Muse series — containing the works of Brandt Peters — on Kickstarter. In an extremely smart move, a PDF copy of the volume can be yours for only $5 while the 140+ page long limited edition softcover is a reasonable $24.

This 6.5" sofubi figure is available  in two colorways: an unpainted, crushed glass and colorway #3. Colorway #3 is the same clear figure with a metallic head only the #3 has it's head, collar, hands, feet & parts of his face painted black.

Nearly a year ago, on the eve of the massive Takayama Spring Festival, an exhibition opened at the Kusakabe Folk Museum in Takayama, Japan: "Monsters & Misfits," a gallery show of originals and customs by Kathie Olivas, Brandt Peters and Chris Ryniak. The exhibit, in the wake of Japan's disasterous Tōhoku earthquake, was a much needed relief fundraiser.
