Mikie Graham's Custom YHWH!

May 9, 2013 - by specialK
Wow! Mikie Graham's YHWH custom is awesome! Titled The Pillar of Forgotten Gods, the figure was created for the upcoming custom YHWH group show happening at Toy Art Gallery on May 11th. The one thing Mikie wanted to do when customizing this piece was to make the figure interesting from any point of view. He moved the middle eye to the back and removed YHWH's ears making them the wings of the God on top of the pillar.

Rich Page of Ume Toys sent us some photos of Crackles, his Fonzo custom for the upcoming Fonzo Loves the UK show. Crackles is dressed for the group show in his cute little clown suit and party hat! He's also sporting a very Rich Page-like mustache and a third eye. As with most Ume Toys, Crackles' detailed sculpting is remarkable and is an excellent example of Rich's amazing sculpting skills.

dust Branches Out With XW7 Mini-Munny

April 10, 2013 - by specialK
Check out these teaser photos of dust's latest custom! XW7 is a bit of a different direction for dust, one that I find very interesting. While XW7 sports dust's familiar colors and dioramic base, the custom figure is wearing a knit turtleneck sweater and a detailed tool belt - all crafted by dust himself. I'd love to know how he did the sweater. Another interesting thing about XW7 is that dust used only the head and hands of a Mini-Munny instead of the whole platform.
