Mexico City's Sarukaku wrapped up their latest custom toy contest, this one titled "Palamé Los Dientes." The platform was Munnys and other Munnyworld 7" figures and the theme was "Dia De La Muerte" ("Day of the Dead"), but the rules specifically stated "No Zombies, No Halloween, No Monsters!" 

Plaseebo's Eyezon Tank custom

Created for the 5th Anniversary Eyezon Show, Bob "Plaseebo" Conge's "Eyezon Tank" is a vinyl and resin custom with glass eyes and a switched color-changing LED unit that illuminates the eyes.  This piece comes signed and dated by Conge, to be displayed alongside works by Chris Douglass, Martin Hsu, Javier Jimenez, Jay222, Will Long, Seth Longmire, Brian Mahony, Mark Nagata, Todd Robertson, Troy Stith, Matt Walker, Sunguts, Elegabu, Dream Rockets, Handsome Taro and Click Crack.

San Francisco-based artist DrilOne is preparing for his newest solo outing, "To A Life Consumed By Slow Decay," at Kidrobot's Miami location (638 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33139). Opening on September 20th with a reception from 6-8PM, the exhibition will feature new customs and canvas works by the artist (some shown below) while it is on display through November 14th. Dragons Custom Toy Show is the creation of UK Toy Collector Andy Kelly (Zombiekel) who wanted to bring together some of the UK’s greatest artist in a single platform show and raise some money for charity at the same time.

I know what you're thinking: "Damn, that is one sexy man." And yes, Chauskoskis' custom Fonzo is indeed comfortable with his musky male-ness. He's also — we're told — a fantastic swimmer who follows fashion trends carefully and always has an impecable hairstyle. But while this beach bound guy might seem swarmy and tough, he does bring a yellow rubber ducky with him where ever he goes.
