At the 2012 Designer Con, not only were Circus Posterus family heads Brandt Peters and Kathie Olivas present but such notables as Amanda Louise Spayd, Chris Ryniak, Doktor A and DrilOne were also in attendance.

I swung by the Designer Con 2012 table of the Beastlies, which was covered in a full array of hand-made tiny monsters displayed on wonderfully made faux landscapes. I was also able to get a confirmation that a Beastlies animated show produced by J.J. Abrahms is in the works…

Attaboy, design master and Hi-Fructose co-founder, had a brilliant looking booth at this year's Designer Con… made all the more special by the beautiful, massive 4-foot-tall Dudebox custom. The piece was for sale, though I dared not ask for how much; the "Inquire for price" sign was inviting, but such a masterful custom piece certainly wouldn't be cheap…

While on my recent trek to Designer Con 2012, I was able to swing by A Little Stranger's booth where she was displaying a variety of Cavey designs. Not only was she excited for the release of the "Cavey's American Cousins" show, but also the brand new "Gentleman Cavey"…

One of the most anticipated aspects of Designer Con 2012 was the Suck Con, an entire section dedicated to The Super Sucklord. Organized by DKE Toys & Suckadelic, the above pictured Super Suck Up! — which was mainly comprised of interpretations of the Sucklord's notable figures by other artists — was a massive draw.

Swing on by A Little Stranger's DesignerCon Booth #713 on November 3rd, 2012 at the Pasadena Convention Center, 300 East Green Street, Pasadena, CA 91101. She'll have five brand new customs with her: 'Lion-O' custom painted 4" spiki, 'Purple Pyjamas' custom painted 12" Kathie Olivas Benny, 'Flying Bunny Planet' 4" Baby Gaman, 'Blue Troll' 4" sculpted and plushed Mini Munny and 'Peaceful Sea Siren' 4" Rooz.

We've been teasing tons of releases for the 2012 Designer Con's "Super Suck Up!" exhibition, but none is more anticipated than the one by The Super Sucklord himself. While we sadly don't have a picture of the actual piece, we do have images of the packaging art. Yes, it is "Pure Shit." Limited to 50 copies for $100 each.

Scott Wilkowski is infecting The Super Sucklord universe again! Last year, Wilkowski made his skeletons inside resin body versions of the famed Sucklord action figure and now, for the 2012 Designer Con's "Super Suck Up!" exhibition, he's taking a crack at a Gay Empire Stormtrooper figure! Limited to 50 copies, each one will cost $100 at D*Con!

Feel the Suckiness! Yes, the 2012 Designer Con is now controlled by The Super Sucklord! Or, at least, a part of it is… The "Super Suck Up!" is an exhibition in which 15 artists have used The Sucklord's figures as the base to make their own renditions. L'amour Supreme brings his own iconic design — the eyeball in a giant hand — to the Sucklord base.
