German artistic duo Course (Mark Landwehr and Sven Waschk) are currently exhibiting their latest US solo show at Rotofugi Gallery in Chicago. The show is titled "Souls Gone Mad" and it features new, handcrafted, sculpted resin and fiberglass figures. While some of the figures are single pieces there are a few available in limited runs.

Double Haunt have employed the strange and mysterious work of mad scientist Dr. Brainstrain in the depths of Castle Double Haunt and the result are the new "Brain Experiments." Cast in solid resin, these 2.3" figures are hand-painted and only cost $30 for the set.

German artist dust's "Dark Maya" figure will be released at a solo show he's holding at the 44309 Gallery in Dortmund, Germany on December 21st, 2012. The complete edition of the figure will be limited to 100 pieces, split between three different colorways and — perhaps — even a special series limited to a mere 10 pieces. Designer Plastikmat will be issuing the newest edition of his "Yume the Little Geisha," which had been previously issued in exceedingly small runs cast in both black and white resin. This new version, the "Color Edition" released in a quantity of 89 pieces, is hand-cast in white resin and then has hand-painted black hair and blue accents added.

"What are Autumnal Fiends?" you might ask. According to Josh "fplus" Pierce, they "are a new species of fiends that hide in the leaves, causing mischief and mayhem in any way they can. They’re actually part of the reason there is a legend of garden gnomes, but these guys are the real culprits!" Having captured one of these beasts, fplus forced the critter to model for him and he sculpted these 2.5-inch hand-cast resin figures.

The 2nd Annual Designer Toy Awards are thrilled to offer two exclusive colorways of Artmymind's new 2-inch tall "Hellhounds" resin figure. Made in exceedingly limited quantities, there is the $65 "Bloody Night" edition and the $49 "Clear Coral" version.

Neo-kaiju creator Blurble ramps up the nostalgic fun with his newest edition of Gusto release: Everyone Loves The '80s. The classic 4.5-inch tall resin form of Gusto is cast in transparent blue before a generous splattering of pinkish red, yellow and green paints were applied. Limited to only two copies, this Gusto figure comes packaged with a handmade '80s card for $40 in Blurble's online shop.

It is a special time indeed, for Daniel Fleres — the Founder and Lead Researcher of the Swanicorn Observational Society — is offering to breed a custom Swanicorn to your specifications. Indeed, Fleres will produce any 7-inch adult Swanicorn that you may desire out of the countless variations that can, do or could exist.

Our good friend John "Spanky" Stokes and his beautiful girlfriend Jamie were recently wed at an amazing ceremony attended by family and friends, including many notables from the Designer Toy community. Created by Ryan "Brutherford" Rutherford as party favors for the wedding guests were "Stroll ❤'s Stroll'et" resin figures bagged with header cards.
