JC Rivera has a new character he like's to call "InstaCharacter". This figure is inspired by Instagram, an iPhone app that lets you share pictures with your friends and family. Rivera even thought at one point that the character would be a great mascot for Instagram, if they were interested.

As I studied at Coventry University (back in blighty) and lived there for such a long time, I am keen to support any artistic venture to be spawned from its womb, so when I heard about this new iphone app I had to share it. The app is called Cake Mix and it lets you make your own cute cupcake characters - no artistic or cooking skills required! You can choose from different colored icing, cases accessories, facial expressions and backgrounds to personalize your cupcake. You can then save your creations and share them with your friends (on facebook and twitter).

iCade 8-Bitty,  no not the Little Britain bitty sketch, i know that's what you're thinking, but an awesome old school controller compatible with your iphone and ipad! The controller pairs wirelessly, and is compatible with a growing list of retro game apps. What's also cool about it is that its an open interface system so any app developer can add game support!  This is set for release later this year with a price of $24.99 you'll be able to purchase it here

Happy Chinese New Year! Ciboys are preparing to launch some new characters on February 2nd 2012. We dont know too many details on these dudes, aside from  the flyer below, but in my opinion that adds to the anticipation. Rumor has it Ciboys will also be creating an iPhone Game this summer! Keep your eyes peeled for more details.
