Russell and James are obviously hopeful for the weather this Summer with the release of these beach towels (including the delightfully Pink Clutter Ken). Available this Saturday from www.store.amostoys.com

The Darkness!!??

Ha ha...no not the rubbish 80s metal loving band! That was just an excuse to post their really crap album cover ;)

James Jarvis "Selected Drawings"

Meant to blog about this a while back when my Yod and book turned up from the Amos store. This is a must-have for Jarvis fans but will also interest people into illustration in general as it has some stunning pages.

Jarvis heaven

Oh yeah...illustration book and some new Yods. I haven't, despite being a big JJ fan, bothered getting a Yod. As much as I like it, it hasn't been a "must have" for me. But these new versions look interesting, almost a Jarvis platform toy!

I ♥ wrestling elves

October 11, 2007 - by Geoff
Oh yeah! Amos toys have collaborated with HK pop start Juno and HK store Sillything (of Leon fame) to create figures of James Jarvis' cover art for Juno's latest album. Apparently these things have been engineered to ensure you can pose them in the wrestling pose! Something to do with the album's concept of good vs evil. Only with wrestling elves with potato shaped heads. Due out soon....so keep 'em peeled.

More Jarvis!

Holy crap, how did anyone miss this on the Amos blog.......I will sell my available organs to get hold of that giant Evil Martin! Look at that beauty.   One of my favourite ever vinyl pieces supersized by Giorgio Camuffo for an exhibition in Venice in 2003. Wonder if he ever get around to doing Bubba?

Akakazam!

Saw these over on the Amos Toys blog and thought i'd share with the rest of the class. Nice work as usual for the Jarvis, who incidentally went to Dublin to run a half marathon and came 7th with a time of 1hr 14 mins!!!

Yod! Allow it!

Woo yeah new Jarvis stuff always goes down a treat in my house. First time I saw Yodzine I was a bit "WTF?!" but the character has grown on me now and is probably the purest interpretation on the classic Potato Head.

Cuppa Amos..

Attention James Jarvis fans

July 31, 2007 - by Nick
Just thought i'd reiterate what Russell posted over on the Amos Toys blog. Don't cave in and pay over the odds for a White YOD figure from eBay as the SDCC figures were just a Special early release, there will be more of the same version coming in September. YOD will also be available in 6 other colourways with the white being the Amos exclusive. Don't cave to the flippers. Listen to Russell, the man speaks the truth.... even if he is a Spurs supporter ;)
