Ok well we all knew this was coming, or at least you did if you saw my post a few months back before Kaws participated in the Macy's Day Parade (pics below). Hypebeast posted the pic up without stating it's origin, so i have to hope that i'm posting up a genuine tease of the figure. I say I hope because for me this doesn't look like the figure I spotted in previous clips.

Scott Kinnebrew aka The Forces of Dorkness sent us some photos of his latest custom "Electro Spawn".  The custom is an 8" Medicom Hamburger Head Spawn that features a purple cape with nice touches of magenta and neon green on a black body. He's retailing for $250 at Forces of Dorkness' webstore.

Hot on the release of the 'Resting Place' KAWS figure comes this AstroBoy Companion figure based on the classic figure created by Osamu Tezuka. I'm very happy to see the Companion back on his feet for this release as I found it harder to love the reclining figure last time around. Of course KAWS fans will know that the ultimate KAWS figure is a mini run of AstroBoy Companions that quickly disappeared into the ether and now command insane prices. The sketch was previously teased but now the official product views are out and I am definitely up for getting hold of this one! 

Check out this incoming Andy Warhol Vinyl Collectible Doll by Japanese masters Medicom. It's about time the legendary pop artist was imortalised in vinyl form - i think he'd probably appreciate the collectible art toy world.

Real x Head (Distributed by  Medicom ) will be releasing their Chaos Warriors line of figures on September 9th.  Priced at 5,500 yen (distribution price - approx $70), and standing at 20cm.  Collab with Uamou (bootleg we think not 100% sure if its officially or not) "Riaruuamou"    "Chaos Meow"   

Medicom (Vinyl Collectible Dolls) has announced their latest Andy Warhol product, 'This is Andy'. Due to go on sale on October 7th and priced at 7,800 yen (that's about $100 US), the figure stands at a full height of about 23.5cm or about 8.5" - 9".  Produced in a "Silk Screen" (front blue and red, back yellow) and "Normal" Version, it looks as though the figure comes with two interchangeable heads, but i could be wrong.  No information on edition numbers yet, but I really love the silk screen version! 

Not a massive fan of this new Vader Kubrick from Medicom, but it has been released to commemorate the Medicom Toy Exhibition 2012 at the Parco Museum in Shubuya-ku, Tokyo. I don't have anything other than the pic to go on for size, but it looks like it's just a 100% sized figure from the detail and will be avaialble from this Saturday (June 23rd) at 10am at the exhibition venue.

Medicom release details of these crazy new 400% Be@rbricks due out this Summer: 1 is an Aroma Diffuser, 2 is made from glow in the dark wood and No3 is Aluminium! 1 Aroma Diffuser Be@rbrick Ok so you're familliar with those scent dispensers you place around the place so it smells nice when people visit and don't get a noseful of your natural odour? Well this is one of them in errr... Be@rbrick form. Free of detail this 'brick comes in a semi transluscent white plastic, even with a built in LED.

Well if you're anything like me (unlikely I know), this is an essential purchase! The Be@rbrick Mug, arriving June 23rd. Not quite sure why i desperately need this but the design is the classic Be@rbrick head shape, clean and simple and looks well made for sure. Classy addition for any toy collector whether it ends up having a hot beverage drunk out of it, or just used for storing pens. It will go nicely with the Secret Base mug Geoff brought back from Japan for me last year. Due for release on June 23rd, no word on price as of yet.

Medicom has you Be@rbrick fans covered with this new Japanese series of figures that will be available from their new store in the record breaking Skytree tower shopping complex in Tokyo. In celebrating the opening of the store and the newly built Skytree Tower Medicom have looked back to their roots and national history and tradition for this series. Prominently you will see the traditional Manekineko (Beckoning Cat) which will be available in 100 and 400% versions. Other designs include Shishimai (Lion dance), Kabuki, Buriki Kingyo (Toy Goldfish) and Daruma.
