Mezco's Monster Frankenstein

June 3, 2012 - by Richie
Just received news of Mezco's upcoming release, the monster Frankenstein! So all you monster buffs out there pay attention, or even if you're not clued up on your monster genre, you'll surely all know of the iconic Frankenstein. Stitched together by Dr Frankenstein from parts of corpses and through a combination of strange machinery and a bolt of lightning, Frankenstein was soon terrorizing the countryside and no doubt getting those torches and pitchforks waving.

LongoLand Monster Rug

February 22, 2012 - by Richie
It's a given that we all love toys, you wouldn't be here otherwise! It's also a given that our collections are usually stored in glass cabinets, scattered on desks or collecting dust on shelves. As lovely as they are, what if we could make more use of them? Incorporate a bit of utility, bring them into our daily lives? Well we might just have an answer for you... Here we have the Monster Rug by Longoland! File 5848 File 5849

The It's Alive Project

December 2, 2011 - by Devin
I don’t know how I missed the “it’s Alive!” project being the avid universal monster fan that I am. But check out these sick Frankenstein’s monster recreations by over 80 different artists. And good news, they’re for sale and you don’t have to feel bad about breaking your bank on them because all the proceeds go to St.Judes charity! Woo! I would jump like lightning at the chance to customize one of these bad boys for a show. So cool! You can purchase one here: http://www.theitsaliveproject.org/Busts_for_sale.html

Bat Ball by Andrew Bell

October 7, 2011 - by Devin
Check out our buddy Andrew Bell's new creature, Bat Ball. One of my favorite things about this season is how many new creepy monsters pop up. This bat ball is pretty adorable but you know he's got a good bite, as much blood as he's got spilling from his mouth. See this little monster and a lot more at the Bewitching Show courtesy of Stranger Factory. I hope we see a production run on these guys, it's right up my alley.

Uncle Six Eyes bust

October 5, 2011 - by Devin
Check out the new bust, Uncle Six Eyes,by Travis Louie, perfect to start getting in to the spirit of Halloween. All of Mr. Louie's work is dripping with that spirit. I especially like the vintage feel of his creatures and this bust is no exception. Check out the og painting here. He would fit nicely in the House on Haunted Hill (the Vincent Price one not that new abomination). It also would look great in my house incidentally.
