Fans of the film Coraline can rejoice, for LAIKA's newest film — ParaNorman — opens tonight. Recounting the story of a weird boy, blessed with the ability to speak with the dead, who is able to prevent his hometown from utter destruction in the wake of zombies rising due to a Witch's curse.

Finally trailer no3 for The Dark Knight Rises gets me excited for the film which is now practically only 2 months away! I'm still hesitant about how good a bad guy Bane is for the big screen, especially in Chris Nolans very non comic book feeling Gotham.

A RISD student has made — for his senior thesis — a film about Shepard Fairey's time at the art school, which is where his now infamous "Obey Giant" campaign has it's beginnings. Though they have completed shooting the film, which isn't a documentary but rather a bio-narrative akin to The Social Network, they do still need to finance the post production and marketing. This is an authorized endeavor, having received Fairey's blesssing and support.

Liking the look of this first proper trailer for the movie 'Looper' coming out later in the year. Starring the exceedingly likable Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a hitman, a 'looper' who assasinates people sent back in time from the future.

OK well for starters go check out the movie 21 Jump Street starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, cos it's unbelievably funny. But there's also, amongst the cameos, a few glances of some awesome Buff Monster artwork. The love interest character for Jonah Hill is one Brie Larson and her characters laptop wallpaper is something similar to the artwork above. I can't remember 100% but the character bursting through is pretty much identicle but i coulda sworn it had a pink background. Either way it's awesome.

Sorry, bit late on this one but wanted to share my thoughts on the subject regardless. I mean as far as news goes, this is as big as the announcement of when Kidrobot partnered with 3D animation studio Wildbrain, tho that didn't exactly turn out as planned. No such issues to be had with this partnership as everything is already at full steam ahead to make it happen...

Tonight I was lucky enough to see the U.S. Premier of the film Paul. If your as big a fan as I am of Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz then you'll be in love with this movie.  

Been a bit slack on both TDK and Watchmen recently but t'internet is awash with rumours surrounding TDK and how damn good it is.

Or maybe that should be "I am Livid". When I first saw the trailer for I am Legend I was quite excited at the idea of someone adapting one of my favourite Sci-Fi (ish) books. I know some people were horrified at the thought of Will Smith playing Neville but I think he's a good actor when he's not quipping like a madman - see Six Degrees of Separation, Ali, The Pursuit of Happyness.

Revealed in all his glory on the cover of the upcoming Empire. Really getting far too excited for my own good about The Dark Knight!!!
