We've known for a few months that Sega was preparing a high-definition upgrade to Jet Set Radio, the influential Dreamcast fan-favorite game that originally released in 2000, but now we have release dates and a price for the futuristic street art-focused affair.

A slick new line of officially-licensed shirts based on classic Sega game franchises is now available at Insert Coin, headlined by shirts inspired by the characters Beat and Gum (pictured below) from Dreamcast classic Jet Set Radio. With an HD remake of the game on the horizon, the timing is perfect, though other Sega shirts are also in the mix.

To mark the 16th anniversary of premiere Sega Saturn title Nights Into Dreams, Sega announced today that it will re-release the original game in high definition this fall for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC digital distribution channels.

Sega successfully mined the Mario Kart formula a couple years back with Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, so it's little surprise that the publisher will give it another go this fall with Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.

Jet Set Radio (originally Jet Grind Radio in North America) for Dreamcast was never a blockbuster hit, but it gained a sizeable cult audience for its one-of-a-kind blend of graffiti art, street culture, hip-hop, and rollerblading, not to mention its pioneering cel-shaded look that soon spread to countless other games and genres. Come this summer, a dozen years after its 2000 debut, the game will return in a remastered version for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
