Red Mutuca Art Collective member Quiccs just finished his second installment of his series of six characters inspired by The Galactic Empire of Star Wars. Quiccs took an 8" Gold King Dunny and transformed him into the Big Brother of the Bulletpunk: Big Brother Stormtrooper Dunny set. The Gold King's staff was cut into 3 pieces and then sculpted together to form the blaster.

Alex Diamond is not one artist - it's a project conceived by German artist Jörg Heikaus & heliumcowboy in 2004. "The Alex Diamond Mining Company" is the latest chapter in this story and it brings the project to a new, broader base of an "artist-run cooperation." The co-op uses a wide variety of media including photography which is then painted over such as the photos shown below.

The Ewoks always irritated me... that Ewok celebration in Return of the Jedi produced more eye-rolls than a mall full of teenage girls. It always seemed to me that Lucas couldn't come up with anything fresh so he made the Ewoks look like annoying baby Chewbaccas.
