Tonight Stranger Factory opens Migration, the latest collaborative exhibit by Chris Ryniak & Amanda Louise Spayd. The exhibit features the plush sculptures, drawings, very small runs of editioned resin figures, mixed media paintings and sketches from both Amanda & Chris alone and on collaborative pieces. 

March plans to be a busy month for Stranger Factory. In addition to hosting Migration, an exhibit by artists Amanda Louise Spayd and Chris Ryniak, Stranger Factory plans on presenting 2 workshops with the very same artists. Migration will open on Friday, March 1st, featuring the plush sculptures, drawings limited resin figures, mixed media paintings of Chris Ryniak and Amanda Lousie Spayd.

 Stranger Factory, in Albuquerque New Mexico, opens three independent shows in one night. Empty World by DrilOne, Fore Tell by Limon and Long Dogs by Leecifer will show February 1st through the 24th.

Tomenosuke-syoten and Circus Posterus are proud to announce the release of their debut sofubi vinyl figure: Brandt Peters' Stingy Jack! This figure has been over a year in the making, but is set to release this weekend via Circus Posterus's store and Gallery, Stranger Factory (US) and partner Tomenosuke-Syoten (JP).

Travis Louie was born in Queens, NY about a mile from the site of the 1964 World's Fair, so his fascination with "Atomic Age" science-fiction and horror shouldn't be surprising. Or, at least, no more surprising than his fantastical world where human oddities, mythical creatures and otherworldly beasts seem to have existed in the Victorian and Edwardian periods.

Attention to all GreaseBat Lovers: The Stranger Factory has just announced their upcoming Exclusive Greasebat!! This rare 7" beauty is cast in solid sky blue, with red, gold and silver sprays.  Rumor has it, the SF Exclusive Greasebat will be wreaking havoc through Albuquerque (a nice change of scenery for this London terror)  within the next few weeks. 

The Stranger Factory is giving us the good word on TWO awesome gallery shows that are creeping up on us. First we have Joe Capobianco's 'BLOOD PUDDIN' from March 2nd - April 2nd 2012!

Brandt Peters has unleashed some official details about “TRIGGER” a two-person exhibition between Peters and Jamungo/Playge ringleader Clay ‘FERG’ Ferguson. This exhibition is going to occur at the Stranger Factory January 6th where you will get to see the two of these artists reinterpret each others work. The showcase includes 2D and three-dimensional work, there will also be some of the most awesome customs to date. The show runs through Jan.

Circus Posterus flagship store: Stranger Factory opened it's doors this week in Alberquerque New Mexico dedicated to bringing a new style of art to the area.
