TILT x 1xRUN's Super Mario Bros. Prints

July 31, 2012 - by TrustPigs
Back in April of 2011, French street artist TILT was part of the "Infamous" exhibition with Ceet, Mist and Kong; a show that premiered TILT's interpretations of Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach from the Super Mario Bros. video game franchise. These Nintendo characters, rendered in TILT's bubble letter throw-up graffiti style, have garnered a cult-like attention by fans not only of graffiti writing but also of the classic 8-bit game.

Ok, I just saw a video that NASA employee Mark Robert has posted on YouTube. Mark shows us how to make a Super Mario glowing night kite. I'm loving this idea. It's pretty easy, affordable, DIY, and possibly illegal.  This has super awesome prank potential.  Mark uses the Super Mario image as an example. You can do what ever you like on a night kite. Let's check out his video.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 Out for Nintendo 3DS in August

April 23, 2012 - by Andrew Hayward
Nintendo hinted some time back that it was working on a traditional side-scrolling Mario game for the Nintendo 3DS, but this weekend's sudden announcement of New Super Mario Bros. 2 for the handheld still came as a surprise. Designed as a sequel to the 2006 original for Nintendo DS -- not the multiplayer-centric Wii follow-up -- New Super Mario Bros. 2 looks to mine much of the Mario series' past to present another adventure that blends the fresh and familiar with expected nostalgic bliss.
