"A vegan cooking show from the Abyss" is how the Vegan Black Metal Chef describes his YouTube channel. While looking for some cool vegan recipes on YouTube, I came across a true necro warrior, one who mades kick ass vegan food the true Nordic Black Metal way; Vegan Black Metal Chef. With his mighty axe, VBMC sacrifices vegetables & tofu on an alter adorned with pentagrams and candles, all while looking oh-so necro in corpse paint and spikes.

I found something on YouTube that has been haunting me for close to 24 hours now. The video features a crazed pink face nibbling on the finger of a woman. I mean, I know it's not alive or anything BUT the face smiles, and frowns and looks freaky as it munches on this finger! And it's eyes! Their fixed gaze keeps drawing me back for another look. Every time I watch it I hope that it will be my last view because the video has lost the ability to give me the creeps. Unfortunately, that is not the case and I find it more unsettling every time I watch it.

CocoRosie - Not a new band. In fact they formed back in 2003. Described as "Freak Folk" the band was formed by Sisters  Bianca "Coco" and Sierra "Rosie" Casady. While they may not be a new band, we only just found this performance featuring the Royal Concergebouw Orchestra. It blew us away, with its magical and eerie sound so we had to share! Enjoy... 

During the 2nd Annual Designer Toys Awards ceremony, held in New York City on October 13th, 2012, not all of the winners were able to be present so we had some of those we knew would be in abstentia record video acceptance speeches for us. Perhaps the most notable being Michael Lau's thank you video for winning "Best 1/6th Scale," which we didn't receive early enough to air that night:

The LEGO Great Ball Contraption is a mesmorizing machine made from LEGO components. The elaborate GBC stretches 1.5 m X 6.5 m & took Japanese builder/creator Akiyuki almost two years to create - 600 hours to be exact.

Street artist ABOVE was in Copenhagen this month where he created a video titled #socialcommentarty. The time lapsed video shows Above painting & erasing his thoughts on social sites like Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. I do agree with him about the photos of coffee; I will never understand the pictures of food on social sites. ABOVE's video follows the stills shown below.

With the debut of Doctor Who's 7th Series premiere rapidly approaching of September 1st, 2012, the BBC have organized a wonderful five-part mini-adventure that leads up to the first episode event. The prequel, entitled "Pond Life," which was written by Dr. Who alumn Chris Chibnall ("42", "The Hungry Earth" / "Cold Blood" and the upcoming "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" episodes) and upcoming episode director Saul Metzstein.

Anchorsand knows how to get down, get bloody & party. They recruited photographer Matt Barnes to document drunken college students get their heathen on while wearing Anchorsand tees, tanks, hoodies & hats. By the way, the shirts are pretty damn cool. Give me that 'Smoke Meth & Hail Satan,' I wish I had that shirt when I was 17. One question; where did all of that blood come from? Pre-blood.  Blood makes it's appearance.

Star Wars: Detours is a brand new, official parody of the massive sci-fi franchise. The forthcoming animated comedy "explores what daily life is like in a galaxy far, far away" and uses the tagline "the other side of the stars, between the wars." At this point, little is known about this upcoming project other than the show trailer and the general description:
