Gly Dillon's graphic novel "The Nao of Brown" has been getting a lot of attention lately. It's main character is Nao Brown, a frustrated illustrator who practices meditation and works in a vinyl toy store. If you've read "The Nao of Brown" you'll recognize "Frogslegs" because he's stocked in Peoploids, the vinyl toy store where Nao works. 

The Misery is a cute little toy that is there to remind you "about the rainbow after the rain" and wants to help you keep in mind all of the good things that surround you. Basically, The Misery is there to help keep you happy!

If you happen to be in the Los Angeles area Joe Ledbetter is hosting a "dont miss" event! He will be hosting a Pop-Up Store and Garage Sale! This occasion will allow you to access Prints, AP's, Rarities, Skateboards, and much more JLed goodies. Plus some of Joe's personal vinyl toy collection, art prints and memorabilia from more then 10 years of activity in the Art and Toy World. There will also be toy cabinets, furniture, and other misc items, including some free stuff (while supplies last)  

Sara, from the San Francisco based portable speaker company Boombotix, has just given us news on their upcoming event! Boombotix is collaborating with over 30 local artists to participate in customizing their speakers. Their speakers were originally conceived from Do-It-Yourself vinyl toys.

Ashley Wood's ThreeA toy Heavy Bramble sold out for a reason, and left a lot of folks more than bummed they didn't get one for their collection. Well, now you can change that. A word of warning though, that's a paper toy you're looking at in the above snap. A custom of a custom you might say.
