Last week i posted about the upcoming Sushi Kaiju by Paul Shih, and outstanding self produced resin figure of such quality its almost hard to believe its self produced. Well you can check out the sculpting process on his blog as well as the casting and painting pics. See the love poured into this figure and beautifully documented too. This is what toy making is all about!

Say what you want about kickstarter projects, personally i'll back em if i want the toy but if you just wanna make a toy yourself then Paul Shih is showing you how to do it, and doing it to a high enough standard that you shouldn't require other people to put their hands in their pockets before there's a product available. This figure is easily worthy of being made in vinyl but i look forward to buying my own Kaiju Sushi Resin figure.
