This one's been a long time coming, though really i guess most Kidrobot projects have been in the idea stage for a looong time but the UK series was quite a while ago now, back in Jan 2009! So thank god this dunny has come out lookin awesome and isn't an exact replica of the Rainy Day Dunny Triclops designed back then.

Taking inspiration from Belgian surrealist Rene Magritte's self portrait featuring the classic image of the apple obscuring his face the Rene London dunny has most of the same features as its 3" relative such as a clear head (though more frosty looking than 100% clear), sharp suit, bowler hat and umbrella. The 8" version now comes with a spiffy pipe too!. The back of the suit features the line “Ceci n’est pas une Dunny".

The box art is a pretty stunning piece of work too, not what we're used to seeing from the Clops, but they always show their versatility as a design studio.  The Rene London 8-inch Dunny arrives in Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com and specialty retailers August 18 for $75 (£60.00 UK; 69.60€ Europe) and is limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide.
