UPDATE: I've left the rest of the post as-is, as it is still a valid post about the figure but since it was posted it has come to light (in the comments) that this figure is a complete rip-off of a design by one José María Andrés made back in 2009. I'm not sure what HeadPlay thinks they are doing by producing this figure without the partnership or permission of Jose, but for one thing it makes a massive difference to the figure's desirability.

So basically what it comes down to is that this character is Copyright and property of Jose and some random company has just ripped off his design and produced a figure to make money off. NO FAIR!!! Jose def deserves the props (and money) that arisen from the production of this figure!

Go check out Jose's website at www.alzhem.com

Love this insane flashing 'Bad Banana Man' figure from Head Play toys. Not normally what the company produces but i dare you not to grin at this figure. Aside from that i don't know much about the figure apart from the fact that he's made from PVC, will cost you about $40 and is available from the CTMA Centre in Hong Kong.

The figure's style reminds me alot of the characters from the UK Pepperami adverts. Just glad this isn't a figure of an actual flashing Bananaman character from the old UK cartoon series (one of our finest!). But a flashing Bananaman would require me to have therapy!
