Check out the clean wooden weapons of art destruction by collaborators Daniel Ting Chong & Jordan Metcalf. The project is called Fear.Less and is aimed at reducing the fear caused by these weapons in South Africa, both by criminals and the law. I think they are pulling it off, I would love to have one of these on my wall but definitely wouldn't the real thing in my face. It would be really interesting to learn the process behind making something like this. I imagine a laser cutter is in order.
