The Corey Helford Gallery is proud to present their major exhibition of new work by artist Amy Sol titled "Numina". Inspired by the word "numinous', Sol chose the title "Numina" as the title based on the curvature of hits letters, feminine qualities and sound alluding to magic and mystery. All of these elements embodied in her latest collection of paintings.
âI often choose words for not only the meaning but the shape and sound of the word itself,â says Sol.
This show will feature ten of Amy's newest acrylic-on-wood panel paintings, infused with her soft signature colors and dreamy settings in combination with animals and female figures.
âThe characters in each piece are participants seeped in adventure and dream logic.â
Just upstairs will feature the latest works of UK based artist Tom Bagshaw. His work is inspired by myths, legends and folklore from various cultures around the world. His new series will include two Disney-inspired portraits.
