Today the Joy of Toy heads to the land of the rising sun. Pete Fowler, Tokyoplastic, Sichi and Clutters very own Geoff head to Japan to face off against some of Japans leading character artists including Dehara, Shin Tanaka, AtelierSANGO, Planet Planter and a host of talent from the Hexaproject line-up.

Hopefuly we'll get the occasional update from our man in Japan or follow his...

Tomorrow Buff Monster releases the 3rd figure in his Zombie Rising themed customs. Just 10 of these 3" figures, hand painted by the man himself will be up for sale. Each figure comes in its very own silk screened box along with a signed and numbered silk screened print.

Bwana Spoons is brining some serious heat to the Balls Out show opening April 2 at Grass Hut. It's pretty clear from the teaser pics that over the last 2 years Bwana's custom skills have gone from strength to strength. The technique, the detailing, the colours all really pop on this set of figures while retaining his customary style.

Wow. Just wow. Just when I start losing a little faith in designer toys something makes my jaw drop and it's no real susprise that Brandt Peters is the one to do it. Coarse has just announced two brand new colours of the Jaws Loser figure. Already a huge hit with vinyl collectors these latest figures from the Hong Kong-based firm take the classic Jaws Loser and pep him up with some summery pastel tones.

There's not much to say about this - its the grey/mono version of the original Dissected Bearbrick coming in 100, 400 and 1,000% sizes. Due to drop in a few days (March 27) at the Original Fake store in Tokyo and presumably in limited quantities on Kawsone about a week later.
