Tim Biskup opened his first solo show at  Milan, Italy's Antonio Colombo Arte Contemporanea. Titled Excavation, the show takes its name from a William de Kooning painting.  After viewing the de Kooning retrospective at MoMA, Biskup turned to Abstract Expressionism and cites de Kooning as the main influence of his new direction.

While Biskup's style may have loosened up a bit, he still adds defined lines and shapes to his work. Excavation will be showing at Antonio Colombo Arte Contemporanea through 10/22.
