Mixed Media artist Ferris Plock is currently showing "Carry On" an exhibit of new work at San Francisco's Shooting Gallery. Plock's amazing characters are a mix of old and new. For example, the old Japanese woodblock-style Samurai wearing kimonos and hi-top sneakers while carting boomboxes.

For "Carry On" Plock brings back his characters and adds a new weathering technique to them. He uses a variety of materials, including house paint, wood stains, gouache, gold foil and wood panels. "Carry On" will be showing at Shooting Gallery in San Francisco from October 6th until November 3rd. The show is free and open to the public. If you're in or around SF during this period get to Shooting Gallery and see "Carry On".

Wow! The cropped headline photo doesn't do this custom Munny from Riser any justice. Riser's well-honed professional prop building skills (he creates props for TV & films) really come through in this unique piece hes named Storm Drone 13.
