New York based LEGO sculptor extraordinaire (I love that word) Nathan Sawaya recently collaborated with Australian photographer Dean West to create a multi-media exhibit called In Pieces. The images use modern digital photography and sculpted LEGO objects placed within scenes. From a distance the images look like photographs, but upon closer inspection some objects reveal themselves to be composed of LEGOs. Some of the LEGO objects are obvious and others blend smoothly into the background, warranting a second glance. The In Pieces photos are made to look like vintage American picture postcards in style & content. Take a look an see if you can find all of the LEGO objects in the photographs!

LEGO Ideas is like Kickstarter but without money. Someone builds a cool idea out of LEGO - often an IP that LEGO has yet to obtain the license for - or model it out with software and submits it to other LEGO fans for voting.
