If your into designer toys, grew up thinking skateboarding wasn’t a crime and that street art creates a landscape that Updike didn’t imagine when writing his Utopia, then check out the Decks on Decks Exhibit.   The team at Silky's Skateshop and POPUP x NYC have combined forces to blow your mind! You may need to rethink your current plans for  April 20th, 2013? 

With over 40 hand painted skateboard decks lining the walls of The Loom, located in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, this indoor market will be transformed into a whose who in the Low Brow art scene.  Drawing on many backgrounds, artist such as Billy Roids, Dick Chicken, and Phetus along with many others. 

 

The event will also feature live music, DJs, and the freedom to hang in the indoor or outdoor part of the venue! This promises to be a very diverse event... see you there!
