Most of the time, when writing about releases, reviewers haven't gottent the chance to see them firsthand; thankfully, with "The Grimsheep" vinyl figure, that was not the case! Having been able to play with and examine these pieces closely, I'm confident that these'll be an amazing addition to any collection. Designed by Owen "Grimsheep" DeWitt and released by Happy Panda Toys, each 6-inch tall figure comes packed with two interchangeable heads as well as several weapon accessories to choose from. Articulated at the shoulders, wrists, and neck, the first version to be released — the OG Edition — includes a sheep head and tiger head to exchange on the body as well as two gun accessories and two swords. There will be two additional painted versions released in the future, each with two unique heads and different body: the Panda Edition on October 1st and the "Skull Edition" on November 8th (the latter both online and in-person at Designer Con 2014). On top of these three fantastic versions, there will also be a blank DIY Edition available at Designer Con that accompanies a custom Grimsheep show, featuring 18 of these figures customized by some of the best artists in the designer toy community! But when does the OG Edition release, you might be asking… And the answer is today!

Available today at 2PM Eastern time, the limited, hand-numbered 100 piece edition will be available strictly from the Happy Panda Toys website for a mere $50 apiece. Now trust me, as someone that's played with these, not only are you getting an amazing deal at that price but these are a must own for any designer toy fan!
