As part of their City as Canvas exhibition, the Museum Of The City Of New York sent John Matos aka CRASH and Chris Ellis aka DAZE to Little Italy to paint a mural with The L.I.S.A. Project NYC earlier this month.

"CRASH and DAZE are two pioneers of combining graffiti and so-called fine art. This mural beautifully captures so many elements of the streets and culture of New York City. It's a privilege to work with CRASH and DAZE and to share their work with Little Italy." says RJ Rushmore, co-curator of The L.I.S.A. Project NYC.

The L.I.S.A. Project NYC is a part of the Little Italy Merchants’ Association, a group of local merchants dedicated to preserving neighborhood history while maintaining Little Italy as an evolving and essential part of New York City.
