The recently opened Guts exhibition at the Light Grey Art Lab in Minneapolis features the work of over 60 artists, each exploring the hidden truths concealed within some of their favorite bizarre subjects. Billed as "a very revealing group exhibition," this show is part exploration, part education, and — dare we say it — part evisceration, as what's really underneath the surface of things is dragged into the light. The featured artist in the exhibition is Lana Crooks, who also appeared on the gallery's weekly podcast and installed not only her own works but also the 15 foot skeletal "wallpaper" that decorates the entire show. The exhibit runs through May 15th and all remaining pieces are currently available in the gallery's online shop.
