Vans has teamed up with the somewhat controversial artist Wes Lang for an aggressive pair of their classic Sk8 Hi sneakers. Lang, who has also collaborated with Kanye West and The Grateful Dead, applied his signature scribbles to the shoes' canvas, including his frequently used imagery such as skulls and Native Americans. Of course, Lang's nude girls and Playboy logos didn't make it onto this release. To learn more about Wes Lang, check out this comprehensive mini-documentary.
