octagon houses

Last month we took a look at some triangle houses. Let's add five more angles this month. Octagon houses were popularized by Orson Squire Fowler in the mid-1800s, but there are a handful of modern examples, which we've collected below. Back in the day, they were said to provide more natural sunlight, provide more space, and stay cool in the summer. These days, most people are into them because they just look cool.
