Wow...one little picture and now Uglydolls are on US TV seemingly every day! In case you didn't see it Barack OBama's daughters started back at school this week and his youngest was sporting a rather fetching Babo's Bird Uglydoll on her rucksack. This seems to have started a wave on TV appearances for Uglys (although Uglydoll have supported the Today shows' Xmas toy drive for many years and been featured on NBC).
Slow news day on NBCs "The Briefing Room"?

The Daily Show and Big Toe...rhyming comedy ; )

Kathy Lee really needs to step away from the Botox and make up though.....

So this means Uglydolls are all mainstream and now we'll see them everywhere? Not according to David who has always been a strong advocate on supplying local and independent toy stores - I'm glad he's taken that approach and respect his passion for creating quality toys, as I imagine he's been given plenty of decent offers from large corporations to use Uglys/his art. His blog post here explains it all: http://davidhorvath.blogspot.com/2009/01/big-toe-wins.html
