If you haven't heard the sounds that are generated on Monsterism Island, then you are in for a treat. A follow up to Sounds of Monsterism island, A Psychedelic Guide to Monserism Island will not disappoint. Containing original compositions from a vast array of "musical explorers" including my favourites, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, Wolf People, Beyond Wizard Sleeve and Gruff Rhys (just to pick a few, see all below in monster form) it is truly a psychedelic journey into the world of monsterism, and I guess Pete Fowler.
We received a press copy here in the office a few days ago and the 27 tracks (yes 27) really do take you on a trip into the surreal. From spooky voodoo lullabies to Pixies tin whistle jigs (well actually it conjures images of mythical fawns dancing through the woods to me.. or that scene in the tenacious D video when Jack Black eats mushrooms). All the tracks are created by Pete fowler and his friends to really help you submerge yourself in the world of Monsterism.
