Check out this animation from James Jarvis in collaboration with Nike. Entitled 'Onwards' it sees one of Jarvis's iconic 'potato-headed' characters limbering up before heading off on a run through his hand drawn landscape.

Knowing James' love for running it's the perfect scenario for tranforming his handdrawn work into motion. The animation also uses some particularly cool 3D jiggery-pokery to give the drawn backgrounds added depth and movement. Animated by Richard Kenworthy.

James Jarvis is a name you don't hear too often anymore in the world of designer toys. And while this isn't exactly a designer toy, it's close enough for me. Case Studyo have teamed up with one of the fathers of Western vinyl for a new ceramic piece titled AMPHORA.
