I haven't been too up to date with Games stuff over the last few years but i've heard alot of good stuff from this years E3. It was quite by chance that i happened to read some stuff about this new PS3 Game ModNation Racers by Canadian firm United Front Games. The game looks to be Mario Kart-esque with the styling and graphics of Little Big Planet.

The developers claimed in the blurb that Vinyl and Collectible Toys and their customisable nature were an inspiration from the game and being the doubting, angry people that we are we decided to investigate this claim further to expose them ;) It's true the character design and customisation seems inspired by the likes of a Munny, throwing on accessories and character attributes to develop your own avatar but we wanted some proof goddamit!!

Anyway after finding the developers website we found some screen grabs of their offices and low and behold we have a 16" BunnyQee sitting around. And below you'll see more toys on the desk.

You can decide for yourselves but we reckon thems some UniPo's there from UNKL as well as the obligatory Dunnys (not ours mind you). No ideas yet what the fella in between those figure are but we welcome any suggestions.
Anyway i suppose the whole point of this post is that it's nice when someone claims to be inspired by this toy scene that you can actually see some proof of it. Much better than the usual case of it being some faceless corporation ripping everyone off for their own gain.
