It was way back in 1978 that the original Forbidden Planet Rocket was launched from a little comic book store in Denmark St in London. In 1988 designer Rian Hughes was commissioned to create the now famous Forbidden Planet logo and typeface.

Now in 2009 Forbidden Planet are celebrating their 30th Anniversary by producing a limited run of Vinyl FP Rockets. Lunartik JOnes is the man who's brought the Rocket into the 21st Century. 350 of the original whte colourway have been produced and Mr JOnes has also been busy producing this varient Banana Rocket which comes signed by the artist. Lets hope there are no more potentially risque colourways planned!!!
