Toy makers to the stars Medicom have revealed their latest collaboration with Japanese super artist Takeshi Murakami. The figure 'Inochi' is based on a 2002 film of the same name by Shinohara Tetsuo. The figure comes in 5 different versions and costs and limited to 200pcs each. Retail is expected to be around $1500.

Bit creepy for my liking - not that i've got the $1500 to drop on a toy at the moment ;) haha

OK, to be honest, I don't get the hype. Every year, Japanese fashion brand UNDERCOVER teams up with Medicom to produce a new variant of their GILAPPLE light. It's a small, realistic-looking apple with an old-timey car headlight wedged into its core.
