OK so that's a bit harsh to start of with but its a nice pun and i'm here to comment and post opinion rather than just relate the facts of life. The only reason we have this pic is cos there was one of these figures on eBay last week so we may well get told off for posting it but i'll be in bed by then and it'll be here over night. hehe

So this is the launch of Kidrobot Black - coming hot on the heels of BAPE Black it's an uber range of exclusive toys, from the mind of Paul Budnitz, made in a limited run in 1 colourway only (black maybe?). This new label is supposed to hark back to the good ol days of designer toys or something like that.

This first figure is from Gary Baseman and is called Midnight Magi, stands 8", limited to 200pcs and is a flippers dream as there will be no other colourway produced. He will be available from 12pm tomorrow.

Maybe its just that i'm not excited about this figure or a range of 'Black figures' or that to get back to the good ol days of designer toys a new sub brand with a new level of exclusivity needed to be created to facilitate it. Maybe i'm just spewing rubbish, i'm sure you'll let me know...

Seems that with the move to Boulder, the reselling of their own Dunnys at inflated prices and this new exclusive label and the most awesome open letter to KR from Spanky Kidrobot has had to do more explaining than you'd expect from a toy company.
