On sale Wed (dec 8th) for just under $600 is this very very, VERY, shiny, life sized Paw. Made from high gloss fiberglass it stands at 27"and is limited to 200 pieces. The pieces comes in 4 parts (i'm guessing the head, shoulders and two ears).

The popularity of producing busts has definitely been on the increase in recent years. I would like to think its an a reflection of more traditional sculpting forms. With the size and production costs pushing up the prices and reducing the number produced we are surely making a return to the art based designer toy.

With out seeing this bust in the flesh it is hard to really pass a well critiqued view.  The images make the form look very wide with rather small ears, but i have a feeling that is the image rather than the piece. I look forward to seeing on so i can comment more.

It will go on sale at 11am (EST) here http://www.coarsehkg.com/

I don't think I need to explain why Coarse Toys have garnered a cult following. And the German duo's illustrations are just as alluring as their toys.

Missed out on coarse toys' first cancan release? Well follow your nose to a brand new "ignited" colorway. Fans of the brand will know that the "ignited" moniker means that this release is cast in vibrant glow-in-the-dark vinyl.
