The Stussy x Marvel collaboration has been a much hyped event, as soon as it was teased everybody's mind (mine included) was aware of the sheer amazingness that this collection could provide. And yet Stussy have a recent history of taking something so awesome on paper and ruining it completely to the point that you refuse to part with your money for a mere t-shirt. Read more to see the collection and my ravings...

And remember when i talk about parting with my money that i mean parting with £35 for a t-shirt. While in the US of A a Stussy tee will set you back $36 (currently less that £22) we pay a hefty chunk more over here, presumably cos they ship tees to the states from china and then to the UK adding annoying extra costs and raising the brand to a level that they really don't deserve.

Anyway, yes the Stussy collection is a bit disappointing but i think all the designs look better on a white or black tee rather than the coloured options. See if you think the same based on this Wolverine example;

Other designs include Captain America, The Punisher, Dr Doom, Doctor Octopus etc and are all kinda ok. Out of them all i would probably wear the Dr Doom or Wolvering in their tasteful options but i think the design with the 'Double S' logo on the back is an opportunity missed and the design should have been slap bang on the front. Below these other designs is a selection of artwork from the launch event, some of this work will be the 'Artist' designs for the second Marvel x Stussy drop. Not that entranced by the designs and Jarvis's is an opportunity missed for a rocking design, sadly this has been the way for the Stussy x Jarvis relationship for the past few years.

    Back in December, Medicom and Stussy released 1000% and 100% Be@rbricks to commemorate the streetwear brand's 35th anniversary. The 1000% version came wrapped in a textile printed with Stussy's "Tom Tom" print, itself a tribute to Aboriginal patterns.
